WOW! is currently supporting single moms in the following ways:
121 (One to One)
A ministry created and powered by WOW that meets quarterly. Single moms have a chance to connect, grow, and learn in a fun environment while their children are being cared for.
Outreach to Community Agencies
WOW communicates and attempts to demonstrate acts of God’s love to agencies in our community. We currently reach out to the staff at Planned Parenthood, Crisis Nursery, Pregnancy Centers, and Women’s Shelters.
Youth for Christ Teen Real Life Parent Outreach
A faith based ministry, supported by WOW, for teen parents to gain support, mentoring and knowledge. Meets weekly during the school year every Monday night at the Vineyard.
Collection Drives
WOW coordinates occasional collection drives to provide practical physical resource items to the agencies we reach out to, as well as directly to the single moms we work with.
Special Events
WOW hosts large events in conjunction with other Vineyard ministry teams to reach out to women in our community, such as the annual Single Parent Fair.
