The goal of the Ethnic Diversity Ministry is to increase unity in the Body of Christ and to learn from and connect to our brothers and sisters from different ethnic and racial groups and to the congregations which are predominantly non-European/American. We want to increase the ethnic and racial diversity of our congregation.
To that effect:
We have met and prayed regularly over the last five years with a goal of developing the racial reconciliation ministry in a way that brings honor to God and impacts our church and the community.
We have read and extensively discussed material about racism in society and the church with the goal of functioning as educators that bring what we have learned to our leadership and congregation.
