This page describes the basic ways you can receive services from the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is open from 10am-12pm each Wednesday. For your convenience, pick up one of our calendars on kiosks in the Commons (at the Vineyard) for specific information each month.
There are three ways you can receive food through the MercyWorks Food Pantry: Walk-in Boxes, MercyWorks Emergency Appointments, and MercyWorks Co-op.
To qualify for government commodities, you must meet certain federal requirements. Please make an appointment and we will discuss your situation. Even if you don’t meet the qualifications, we may still be able to help you.
When you receive your food, we will offer to pray with you. It’s not a requirement, but a free offering.
Instructions: Anyone in the Champaign-Urbana community can simply come to the Food Pantry on Wednesdays, 10am-12pm (once a month).
Requirements: Must meet government qualifications for commodities; no ID or appointment required. You will get a bag of food and two choice items.
