Q & A

Will I interact with other couples?
Yes, we would love for you to build relationship with other couples.

Is this going to be just interaction with me and my spouse and will we have alone time?
Our goal would be to create space for you to have alone time with your spouse, as well as space for starting and building friendships with other couples.

Will we be talking about sex?
Intimacy is a vital topic in every marriage, and how one person views intimacy and sex can be completely different than another person.  While our content isn't fully formed at this time, speaking to intimacy and providing tools for communication in this topic is a priority. We also understand that each couple coming to the weekend away will have topics they would like to cover more than others.  Our goal is to provide various topics (which may include sex, intimacy, conflict, finance, parenting, and so on) in which each couple can choose to attend or not attend.

Will we be talking about conflict?
(See above answer)

Do I have to share my story with other couples?
Since we know there is power in our testimony and our stories, we would love to create a safe place for people to share.  However, we also know there are times and seasons in marriages when we aren't comfortable sharing.  No one will be required or pressured to share.  You may engage in each topic or discussion to the extent that feels right for you and your spouse.

What if my spouse and I are going through a hard time?
We all experience hard times.  Our goal would be to inspire you to remember why you fell in love, and to give you tools to keep your covenant even when times are hard.  This is a space to relax, feel no pressure, know that you have a community of people praying over your marriage, and to go home with practical tools as you move towards love and connection in your marriage.

I'm in a really good spot with my spouse right now, will this be beneficial for me?
Absolutely! If anything, this may be the best thing for you right now.  Think of it as a gift to your spouse to say, "I love, value and respect you today and always. I will never be done learning new things about you and celebrating what we have!" Our goal to to have topics and tools available for couples in every season and stage of married life.
