Emergency Fund
The Vineyard Emergency Fund exists to assist individuals and families who are actively involved in the Vineyard Church community with a one-time emergency request for shelter, warmth, food, and/or medical expenses.
Emergency Fund Details
Qualifying as "actively involved" to receive emergency assistance includes:
- Regular attendance at Weekend services
- Regular attendance/involvement with a Vineyard small group or support group ministry
- Participation in one of the MercyWorks assistance ministries
Although our short-range goal is to provide emergency help, our long-term goal is to minister to the whole person. Funds are rarely given without individuals first meeting with a trained financial counselor from The Vineyard Church.
We are always seeking others to work with us, particularly those with a background in social work who are able to do intake, counseling, and advocacy for and with those among us in need.
