Alpha is a 10 week course specifically designed for you to explore the Christian faith and find out what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. We share a meal, participate in some worship, listen to a brief message, and then meet in small discussion groups.
The Alpha program is supported by many different Christian denominations around the world. There are now more than 2 million people worldwide who have found Alpha to be a life-changing experience! Over the last several years we have run the Alpha course 45 times at The Vineyard Church, with a total of over 2000 people attending during that time!

Alpha is for all ages, from high school on. Everyone is welcome, especially:
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the church
- Those who want to brush up on the basics

We usually have a spring session and fall session. Check the news section of the site for specific dates. If you would like to attend, please register online or sign up at the Alpha table in the Commons. There is no charge for the Alpha course or meal itself. Childcare is available for a small fee (please pre-register).
